Global benchmark for tabular alumina, classic grades: T60, T64; also low-sodium version T-LS.

- T60: standard tabular alumina; T64: higher density; widely used in steel ladle castables and continuous casting components; produced in Qingdao for global export.

2. RHI-Magnesita (Austria)

Own grade Tabular Alumina TA series; mainly used for its own refractory bricks and precast products, bulk sales to outsiders are limited.

3. Saint-Gobain

Grade ALUVAL T92 (recycled tabular alumina), mainly from recycled material, lower cost, used for ordinary castables, purity lower than primary tabular alumina.

Practical tips for export buyers

1. Most common international benchmark: T64 (Almatis), domestic equivalent LITAL-99; choose low-sodium grades for sagger use (LITAL-99LS / T-LS).

2. Distinguish: primary sintered tabular alumina vs recycled (ALUVAL T92), recycled has lower purity, cheaper, unsuitable for high-end saggers.

3. Key indicators: Al2O3≥99.2%; Na2O content; bulk density, closed porosity.
