Brown Fused Alumina(BFA) is produced by the smelting of Calcined Bauxite in electric arc furnace at temperatures more than 2000℃.Also it is called brown aluminum oxide or brown corundum, it can be used for producing ceramic grinding wheel ,resin grinding wheel, abrasive,sandblasting and precision casting.

Applications

a) Refractory materials
BFA refractory castables,ramming mass,hook refractory material,refractory brick,and other refractories;

b) Ceramics
BFA ceramic pipe, ceramic special-shaped parts,electric ceramic coated parts
